ABOUT US
What is STSA? STSA aims to assist Carleton students with tax filing and tax literacy. We run multiple events each semester centered around tax-related topics. In March we host our annual tax clinic on campus at Carleton University, where we help students in the preparation of their income tax returns.

Co-President
Brianna Yeung
Brianna is the Co-President of STSA and is a third-year Accounting and Business Analytics student. She is responsible for overseeing the tax clinic operations, event planning, communicating with sponsors, and overseeing the various portfolios of STSA. In her free time, she enjoys baking, video games, and creative writing.

Kaleb Denning
Kaleb is the Co-President of STSA and is a fourth-year Management student. He is responsible for overseeing the tax clinic operations, event planning, communicating with sponsors, and overseeing the various portfolios of STSA. In his free time, he loves creating music and enjoys running, weightlifting, and exploring new places.
Kainaat Safdar
VP Marketing
Kainaat is the VP Marketing of STSA and a fourth-year Management and Marketing student. She oversees all marketing and communications for the club, including creating promotional content and graphics, managing STSA’s social media platforms, and maintaining the website. In her free time, she enjoys baking and travelling.
Thomas Carter
VP Tax Events
Thomas is the VP Tax Events of STSA and a fourth-year Accounting student. He leads the planning and execution of the club’s tax literacy events and the annual tax clinic, managing logistics, securing speakers, and coordinating marketing with the VP Marketing to engage students and maximize attendance. In his free time, he likes to stay active by playing hockey, golf, and going to the gym.

Dalal is an Executive Director for STSA and a third-year Accounting student. She oversees the planning and coordination of the annual tax clinic, managing logistics and volunteer scheduling while working closely with the executive team to ensure efficient operations and a positive experience for all clients. In her free time, she enjoys baking, playing volleyball and going for walks.

Fatma is an Executive Director for STSA and a fourth-year Accounting student. VP Tax Clinic Director
Laith Elsousi
Laith is the VP Tax Clinic Director for STSA and a third-year Accounting student with a stream in International Management. He oversees the operations of STSA’s annual tax clinic, managing logistics, volunteer coordination, and communication with the CVITP program. He collaborates with the Tax Clinic team to ensure compliance with CRA standards and smooth, efficient execution. In his free time, he likes to stay active by playing soccer, volleyball and table tennis. He enjoys going to the movies as well.
